Toddler 2

My name is Dawn Hofmann and I am the lead teacher for Toddler Room 2, ages 24-36 months.   In my class we are working on strengthening your child’s fine motor, cognitive and language skills by providing numerous activities such as coloring, puzzles, and building with large blocks.

At this age, your toddler should be running, jumping, and climbing on age-appropriate playground equipment. His coordination is improving.  We provide many opportunites to strengthen your child’s gross motor development throughout the day. On inclement days we go to the Gross Motor room where we play games with running and kicking balls and climbing. On nice weather days we spend time on our playground where the toddlers have the chance to run, kick balls and clamber on our climbing structures.
